Sobre este blog
Like many idealists, I aspire to live less for myself and more for the conservation of humanity and nature. These terms are very broad and I don’t pretend to have accomplished anything yet.
Mujeres y agua (women and water) are the lifelines of the earth. Women are the nurturers, artisans and stamina of so many societies, but how can we show our true strengths if we–the mothers, sisters, daughters and friends around the world–don’t honestly recognize the respect and appreciation that we are worth?
Similarly, we–the people of this planet–must be aware of the consequences of destroying a substance that keeps us alive. Will we continue to ignore the warnings from impoverished countries and wait for genocide caused by water shortages? Neglect for the rivers and streams, privatization of clean water sources and sheer ignorance will surely lead to monstrous battles for a liquid that is the basis of the fluid in all living organisms.
This blog is for me, and for anyone else who might like to take a look at what I’m doing. I am a quarter century old, with a degree in multimedia journalism. I am doing my best to gain life experiences to prepare for a graduate degree in public policy.
Muchas gracias por su atención.

Wow Lindsay I’m impressed. I got my degree in biology with an emphasis on wildlife management and aquatic ecology. I had no idea you held such an interest in these matters. Keep up the good work and keep me posted on your wanderings, learnings, experiences, etc.
